St.Kitts-Nevis’ People’s Action Movement’s are set for their 51^st annual national convention on Sunday April 10^th 2016 at the Party Headquarters. The convention will be the second  since the 2015 General Elections success as a partner of the Team UNITY Alliance which comfortably won with 7 of the 11 seats up for grabs .

The Deputy Prime Minister Hon. Shawn K. Richards led PAM Party won 4 of the 11 Parliamentary Seats. The most they’ve won since they demitted office some 20 years ago. PAM along with two other parties the Prime Minister Hon. Dr. Timothy Harris led People’s Labour Party PLP and the Nevis Premier Vance Amory led Concerned Citizens Citizens Movement CCM make up the ruling Team UNITY Administration which is led by the PLP Leader  Prime Minister the Hon. Dr. Timothy Harris .

The convention will welcome members, supporters and well-wishers to the party headquarters for what is always an exciting afternoon.

The Theme for this year’s Convention is “Moving Forward, creating opportunities for all”.

Attendees will hear presentations from all candidates/representatives from all 8 constituencies on the successes of the party and their performance in the Government of national Unity.

 

Ruling Jamaica Labour Party MP  Hon. Floyd Green will be this years Special Guest Speaker.  Hon.Green became a first time parliamentarian after defeating the PNP incumbent in the recently concluded general elections in Jamaica that saw the JLP taking the reins of Government. He is noted for his energetic style on the platform as well as being one of the youngest parliamentarians in Jamaica.

Greene’s Party Leader and current Prime Minister of Jamaica Andrew Holiness was the featured guest speaker at the 47^th Annual PAM Convention back in 2012.

 

The 51st Annual National Convention of the People’s Action Movement will commence at 3pm at P.A.M Headquarters on Sunday April 10^th
