Dr. Timothy Harris Delivers 9th Address to UN General Assembly – Inaugural Address as Prime Minister of St.Kitts-Nevis
Prime Minister of St.Kitts-Nevis Dr Timothy Harris made his inaugural Address to the 70th UN General Assmebly on Saturday September 25th 2015. This was Dr. Harris’ 9th Overal Address to the UN Assembly having presented before as Minister of Foreign Affairs beginning in 2001.
Prime Minister Harris’ address centered mainly around the theme of the assembly and gave support to the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.

Prime Minister Harris left the Federation on Friday afternoon. He addressed the UN General Assembly on Saturday 26th September at around Noon for approximately 11 minutes. The Prime Minister will support the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
While in New York, Prime Minister Harris will have a hectic schedule. In addition to his engagements at the United Nations, Dr. Harris will deliver an address at the Kittitians and Nevisians Benevolent Association (KABA) Anniversary Independence Church Service at Crawford Memorial Methodist Church, 757 White Plains Road (East 218 Street, Bronx NY 10475). He will meet with Team Unity leadership and nationals of St. Kitts and Nevis.
Prime Minister Harris will also attend a reception hosted by President and Mrs. Obama, the Costa Rica-CARICOM Presidential Breakfast, and meet with dignitaries and perspective investors.
The St.Kitts-Nevis Delegation to the 70th Assembly included Honourable Mark Brantley, Minister of Foreign Affairs, His Excellency Sam Condor, Ambassador Extraordinary to the United Nations, Mr. Osbert DeSuza, Permanent Secretary in the Office of the Prime Minister, and Mr. Carlisle Richardson and Ghislaine Williams-Clarke of the St. Kitts-Nevis Mission.
