Basseterre, St.Kitts (May 12th 2016):- Barbadian Pollster Peter Wickham has labeled as very inflammatory, the most recent Misogynistic statement by Leader of the St.Kitts-Nevis Opposition Labour Party Dr. Denzil Douglas.
In an interview with the local media Wickham stated “Certainly Dr. Douglas’ comment is very inflammatory…His typical style.”
Dr. Douglas has come in for widespread condemnation regarding his continued outrageous, misogynistic and sexist comments. President of the Caribbean Association of Administrative Assistants as well as the Ministry of Gender Affairs joined the public outcry as both have officially stated and presented their condemnation of the most recent outrageous and highly sexist comment by the Leader of the Opposition.
In the lead up to the 2015 General Elections he ridiculed the wife of his former Deputy when he referred to him as a Kunumunu for consulting with his wife. Douglas said “Any man that has to consult with his wife is a Kunumunu !”

In other more outrageous statements the ousted disgraced leader declared his intention to conquer a then opposition stronghold and promised not to leave anyone standing but instead leave all either dead or wounded. The statement shocked the nation and it also made that seat even easier for the then Opposition PAM to win and so they did with the largest margin ever for that constituency.
