Devena Reid Appointed Chief Financial Officer at St. Kitts and Nevis Citizenship by Investment Unit

Devena Reid, a seasoned financial professional with over two decades of experience, has been named Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at the St. Kitts and Nevis Citizenship by Investment Unit (CIU).

Reid brings a wealth of expertise in financial management, strategic planning, and operational excellence to her new role. Her appointment marks another milestone in her distinguished career, which spans leadership positions in finance and business across several industries in St. Kitts and Nevis and the wider Caribbean.

Before joining the CIU, Reid served as the Chief Executive Officer of Carambola Beach Club and Opus Fine Wines and Spirits, where she oversaw the organization’s strategic direction, implemented transformative changes, and monitored company performance. Prior to her role as CEO, she held the position of CFO at Carambola Beach Club for four years, where she managed financial activities, developed reports, and optimized internal controls.

Reid’s financial acumen was honed over an 11-year tenure as CFO at Beaumont Park Limited, where she played a pivotal role in enhancing financial processes and managing audits. She also gained international experience as a Strategic Business Unit Manager at Xerox in Jamaica, overseeing payroll and tax services for Fortune 500 companies.

Her early career includes roles as Assistant Financial Controller and Group Internal Auditor at SuperClubs Hotels & Resorts, where she focused on internal controls, audits, and financial reporting.

Reid holds a Master of Science in Accounting from Florida International University and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Barry University, where she was an active member of Delta Sigma Pi.

As CFO of the CIU, Reid is expected to leverage her extensive experience to strengthen financial governance, ensure compliance, and contribute to the continued success of the Citizenship by Investment Programme—a critical driver of economic growth in St. Kitts and Nevis.

Her appointment reflects the Federal Government’s commitment to excellence and innovation within the CIU, as it seeks to maintain its position as a leader in the global citizenship by investment industry.
