Caricom discusses how brexit will affect its relations with the United Kingdom

Mark AG Brantley, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Aviation of Saint Kitts and Nevis, in an interview for teleSUR, explained that during the XX meeting of Caricom foreign ministers, a number of issues were discussed and addressed including Brexit and Cimate Change. The Nevisian Deputy Premier explained to Telesur  “We have set the agenda for our Heads of State and Government and there are many important issues we are dealing with such as climate change. ” Brantley also explained that the Caricom countries represented at the The Council for Foreign and Community Relations (COFCOR)  are discussing “how post brexit will affect us in our relations with the UK.”

The 20th Meeting of the Council for Foreign and Community Relations (COFCOR) is now taking place at Lloyd Erskine Sandiford Centre, St. Michael, Barbados. Hon. Brantley along with other foreign affairs ministers of  CARICOM are in attendance. The meeting will be held today May 18th-19th.
