Wind of Change Blows North from the Caribbean to Canada and wisks Justin Trudeau into office

Canadians have spoken, and Justin Trudeau’s Liberals have won a majority government, ousting former Prime Minister Stephen Harper from office.

The Wind of Change that blew through St.Kitts-Nevis, Anguilla, Monsterrat, Trinidad and Tobago and Guyana has blown way up north and blown Justin Trudeau into office as Canada’s new Prime Minister

The three month political campaign was the longest in Canada since the 19th century. The Liberals have walked away with over 170 seats of the 338 seats.

The 43-year-old, who turns 44 in December, has won a majority in not just across Canada but also in Quebec. The last time this happened was in 1980, when his father Pierre Elliott Trudeau won the election.

Trudeau is also expected to be re-elected in his Montreal riding of Papineau. At this time, he is leading the race in the riding with nearly 60 per cent of the vote.

More on this as it develops…
