Basseterre, St. Kitts, April 17, 2017 (SKNIS): Prime Minister Dr. the Hon. Timothy Harris, along with a delegation, is in New York, U.S.A., to attend the funeral of Helen Marcella Byron-Baker, the sister of Attorney General, Hon. Vincent Byron; President of the Caribbean Court of Justice (CCJ), Sir Dennis Byron; and partner in the law firm Byron and Byron, Terrance Byron. Mrs. Byron-Baker, a St. Kitts and Nevis national, passed away in New York, where she resided.
Prime Minister Dr. Harris attended the Viewing of and tributes to the late Helen Marcella Byron-Baker which took place on Monday April 17, 2017, at the J. Foster Phillips Funeral Home in St. Albans, New York.
The funeral church service will take place at 9am at St. John’s United Methodist Church in Valley Stream, New York on April 18, while interment will be at Pinelawn Cemetery in Farmingdale, New York.
Mrs. Byron-Baker was a former senior property manager at Durst Fetner Properties LLC, one of the largest property developers in New York, and a founding member of KABA (Kittitian American Benevolent Association).
