SVG Opposition Leader Eustace Steps Down. Friday Set to Step Up
Kingstown, St.Vincent and Grenadines(November 17th 2016):- St.Vincent and the Grenadines Opposition Leader Arnhim Eustace will step down as and will not seek re-election at his Opposition party’s upcoming Convention.
The announcement came on Tuesday night after a high-level meeting with the party’s top officials.
It is not clear as to when a new Leader of the Opposition would be chosen, but it is widely speculated that Dr. Godwin Friday will take over the reins of Opposition Leader.
No public pronouncement has been made by Mr. Eustace; however, Senator Julian Francis said on Star FM earlier Tuesday night that he heard rumors of Mr. Eustace Resignation.
