This Sunday May 3rd first ever Seaside Fest is shaping up to be one of the biggest events for the local events calendar as thousands are expected to pack the SEASIDE for this inaugural event.
The event which takes place on Sunday on the Frigate Bay Strip close to the Anchorage is expected to feature an afternoon of fun and games starting at 2pm. According to organizers the event is expected to begin at 2pm with various fun games and various beach sports competitions. A variety of Food Stalls will be on hand offering a wide range of traditional and non traditional delicacies.
The highlight of the afternoon however will ikley be the appearance of the UNITY Independence Pageant Contestants . The Contestants will be making an appearance in swimsuit.
Some of the islands top performers will also be at the event. Headlining will be the reigning Road March Champions Small Axe and the inevitable INFAMUS. Infamus and Small Axe needs very little introduction. They are easily both two of the Caribbean’s biggest acts. Groovy Soca Monarch Mr Bagnall and the up and coming superstar island Rapper Mod Stoney will also be performing. Stoney was just recently featured in an international Hip Hop online publication and labeled as one to watch in Hip Hop. His hit “How Ya Mean” has been blazing the local and regional charts.
