In a heartwarming celebration of academic achievement and international camaraderie, three outstanding nationals of St. Kitts and Nevis were honored at the 18th annual Cuban Graduation Ceremony held at the prestigious CUNA Conference Center on Saturday, October 14.
Dr. Tishima Browne, whose dedication led her to excel in the field of medicine, stood alongside Mr. Andre Hanley, a budding civil engineer, and Ms. Tianne Godfrey, a promising expert in health technology. Their success stories serve as a testament to the unwavering determination and diligence that these individuals brought to their studies.
The ceremony, graced by the presence of Prime Minister and Minister of Health, the Honourable Dr. Terrance Drew, was a moment of pride for the nation. Resident Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba to St. Kitts and Nevis, His Excellency David Rivero Perez, and other distinguished guests, including members of the St. Kitts and Nevis Cuban Alumni Association and representatives from the St. Kitts and Nevis Cuba Friendship Association, were present to offer their congratulations.
