Kylah Brantley, a sixteen year old basketball player of Nevisian descent, is heading to Russia on an overseas exchange trip.As the recipient of the prestigious “Sports United: Basketball Ambassadors of Today and Tomorrow” full scholarship from the New York based Russian-American Foundation (RAF), Ms. Brantley will join twelve other students and their coaches for the April 22 to May 1, 2016 trip.

The full scholarship bestowed on Ms. Brantley will give her the exceptional opportunity to engage her peers in Russia through the common bond of basketball. The tour will also allow Ms. Brantley to learn more about the Russian culture and share stories of her heritage with her foreign peers. She will garner a wealth of experience not only in basketball but also in advancing her skills by becoming an open-minded and successful citizen in today’s global world.
