St.Georges, Grenada (August 10th 2015):-Grenadian Cricketer and School Teacher Denroy Charles is set to appear in Magistrate Court on August 17th to answer to charges of rape and sexual assault.
The 31 year old well known Twenty20 cricketer who is nicknamed Cocoa Fly allegedly forced himself onto and into a young lady in his vehicle on Thursday night in a secluded area in St.Andrew.
He was formally detained for questioning on Friday and officially charged on Saturday.
Bail was denied by the Magistrate after she reviewed the case and as a result he was sent to the remand section of Richmond Hill prison.
