WATCH Video: CARICOM Foreign Ministers hold talks on margin of UN General Assembly

Caribbean Community (CARICOM) Secretary-General, Ambassador Irwin LaRocque (second from right at head table); and CARICOM Foreign Ministers during the recently concluded 9th Special Meeting of the Council for Foreign and Community Relations (COFCOR), held on the margins of the UN General Assembly in New York. The issues they discussed included the implementation of the 2030 Sustainable Development Agenda and the Addis Ababa Action Agenda for Financing for Development; climate change; correspondent banking and border issues.

Caribbean Community (CARICOM) Foreign Ministers were meeting Thursday on the margins of the UN General Assembly in New York to discuss matters of Regional interest.
This 9th Special Meeting of the Council for Foreign and Community Relations (COFCOR) had before it issues ranging from the implementation of the Post 2015 Development Agenda to the Guyana-Venezuela and Belize-Guatemala border controversies.
Ahead of the Meeting, Assistant Secretary-General, Foreign and Community Relations at the CARICOM Secretariat, Ambassador Colin Granderson sat down with the Secretariat’s Communications Unit.
