4 St.Kitts-Nevis Hotels named in Top 50 Best Resorts In The Caribbean by Readers’ Choice Awards

Fourseasons Resort, Nisbet Plantation, Park Hyatt and Montepelier Hotel are the top four hotels in the Federation of St. Kitts and Nevis. The Reader’s Choice Awards issued on December 21 2018 by Condé Nast Traveler ranked the hotels as follows:

47th – Four Seasons Resort, Nevis; 45th Nisbet Plantation Beach Club – 41st Park Hyatt and 33rd – Montpelier Hotel

Three of the four hotels are located on Nevis while Park Hyatt is located on St. Kitts.

In listing the best resorts, a brief synopsis of the hotels were provided: ranked 33rd, Montpelier Plantation is an 18 century plantation housed on 60 acres of land with 17 cottages and is located in the St. Johns Parish. It stated:

Music plays gently. Birds flit around the breakfast terrace. Bougainvillaea hides the tennis court. The open-plan buildings flow in and out of each other, with verandahs overlooking the sea. Despite the palm trees, there is something rather English about the gardens, echoes of the original owners.

Park Hyatt St. Kitts recently crowned Caribbean Hotel of the year by Caribbean Journal is ranked 41st by Readers’ Choice awards. Known for its view, its amenities, (Miraval Spa, Yoga and Meditation Room) and its popular restaurant The Stone Barn, Park Hyatt St. Kitts is a trending vacation spot. Park Hyatt is said to be:

Attractive to a variety of vacationing travelers, set on quiet Banana Bay overlooking the twin sister island of Nevis, this Park Hyatt feels like every detail is very thoughtfully considered.

Nisbet Plantation Beach Club located in the St. James Parish is a restored 1778 plantation House with “expansive lawns, coconut palms and gardens.

Guests can look forward to being housed in:

Lemon-hued stucco cottages with white pyramid roofs pop up amid the foliage; balconies or patios face the windy Atlantic beach on the northern tip of this tiny island.

Ranked 47th, is the Four Seasons Resort, Nevis. A 196 room resort with a gift shop, a golf course and sea-side rooms. Visitors alike can enjoy the famous Pinneys Beach or the Pools on property.

This serene hideaway on a lush slice of paradise was built along Pinney’s Beach on the site of a former sugar and coconut plantation (some golf course tees sit atop an old sugar factory)

Le Barthélemy Hotel & Spa located on St. Barths was ranked the #1 hotel in the Caribbean.
