MASSIVE CROWDS TURNED OUT FOR THE SKNABA FINALS SERIES BETWEEN TUFF KNOTS AND HITTERS

 

 

Basseterre, St. Kitts  (September 21, 2016):-The St. Kitts-Nevis-Anguilla National Bank Limited (NATIONAL) has congratulated the Governing Bodies of Basketball and Netball on ther respectively successful 2016 Seasons. The National Bank returned as partners and major sponsor of both Assocation’s Annual National League Tournaments. In a statement issued the largest Indigenous Bank in the EC Union congratulated both association on conducting successful seasons. The statement reads:

“We would like to extend dual congratulations to the St. Kitts Amateur Basketball Association and the St. Kitts Netball Association for hosting a successful 2015-2016 League.  Marketing Manager, Mrs. Shirna Pemberton shouted three (3) cheers on Tuesday to the winning teams of the respective leagues; the St. Paul’s Tuff Knots who successfully defended their SKNABA National Bank Premier Division Championship with an impressive clean sweep and the Auqua Ballahoo Ballers, emerging as the 2016 Champions of the St. Kitts Netball National Bank League.

 

National continues to advocate for sports in the Federation.  Its proven record of sponsorship to the likes of football, netball and basketball leagues over the past two decades speaks of the institution commitment to the development of sports within communities and by extension the country.

 

Congratulations to all the teams and we wish you continued success.”

Both the Netball and the Basketball Association recently concluded hugely successful League Finals . The SKNABA Premeir Division Finals drew thousands of Fans to Basketball City making this years finals another hugely successful event. The Netball Association also had a keenly contested and largely followed Finals Series between the Aquq Ballahoo Ballers and the Cayon Pacers.

Although the SKNABA Premeir Division Finals have concluded the “A” Division Finals between the Sandy Point Pride and the Acheivers Sports Club Wolfpack has not yet begun and is expected to begin shortly.
