London (July 21st 2015):- His Excellency Dr Kevin Isaac signed an Agreement on the Exchange of Information Relating to Tax Matters with the Republic of Ireland on behalf of the Federation this afternoon July 21st 2015 at the Embassy of Ireland in London. Ireland’s ambassador for Britain Dun Mulhall signed on their behalf
The negotiation exercises on the agreement was completed leading to the creation of draft a agreement which was waiting to be signed. Approval was granted for the TIEAs to be signed  .
The TIEA’s is to promote international co-operation in tax matters through exchange of information.
The TIEA framework was developed by the OECD Global Forum Working Group on Effective Exchange of Information which consisted of representatives from OECD member countries and 11 other countries in the Caribbean and other parts of the world.
