Positive reverberations in the yachting industry continue to buoy businesses throughout St. Kitts and Nevis. Since 2016, Christophe Harbour has increased the number of local companies who do business with the marina by 60%, a number that will undoubtedly grow as the marina and the yachting sector continue to expand. While there are many different services and trades required to service yachts and their guests and crew, one of the marina’s most important vendors is a florist.
Decadent luxury is at the heart of any superyacht experience and that luxury comes in many forms: expertly appointed interiors, tailor-made linens, gourmet cuisine, and other high-end finishing touches like fresh flowers. Stand-out arrangements are a necessary way of life onboard, and one local business is really raising the bar.
Dreamy Floral and Décor Bar is The Marina at Christophe Harbour’s preferred flower provider. The Basseterre-based business truly listens to each yacht’s request and provides exceptional, timely service. Approximately 90% of all floral requests from visiting yachts are handled by Dreamy Décor. In addition, the florist has also provided arrangements for other areas of Christophe Harbour including The Pavilion and several private villas.
“Dreamy Floral and Décor Bar are very professional in their approach and have a good understanding of the quality of arrangements that yachts require,” said Melanie Bennett, Marina Guest Services Manager. “Sometimes it is hard to deliver exactly what the yacht requests, but Natalie is very flexible and always provide suitable alternatives.”
As a business partner, Dreamy Floral and Décor Bar has been exemplary and are playing a key role in development of the yachting sector. A selection of the work they’ve produced for visiting superyachts is featured below. Click to view full size images.
