Soca star BLAXX has succumbed to the covid-19 virus plunging the Caribbean music industry into mourning 61-year-old BLAXX (Dexter Stewart) had a fierce battle for his life at the intensive care unit after he contracted the covid-19 virus.The “I feel like Hulk” singer was hospitalised for several weeks in October of 2020 after complaining of difficulty breathing. Subsequent medical exams revealed he also had potentially serious issues pertaining to kidney and lung function.
