A High-Powered group of the federation’s young promoters, musicians, event planners and performers have been assembled to stage what is expected to be one of the biggest events ever in St.Kitts.

The Group forms the Indepedence Flag Fete Committee which is a sub-comittee of the National Independence 35 Organising Committee. The Committee comprises a number of well known promoters, event planners and personalities including PR, Communications and Marketing Consultant and Marketing Manager at the Horsford’s Group  Wallis Wilkin, Constituency Empowerment Deputy Director Myrtilla Williams, Soca Performer Rucas Pemberton,  Canejuice and Impel Marketing Founder and Owner Rapheal Phonse Rodney, Marketing Professional Amali Armony Managing Partner at the Power Circle producers of the hugely successful Blu Wave Events, Brandon Cranstoun of ASAP Creative, Promoter and Entertainment Manager Eldon “Big T” Harris, PR Professional and PR Officer at SCASPA Nordia Demming , Entrepreneur Damian Weekes and Crystal Hunkins .

 

“This Committee represents the best of the best of our young people,”  said Wallis Wilkin of the Independence Central Committee.  “The government saw it fit to get the  young people involved as they are proving and continue to prove that placing confidence in their competence and ability is not misplaced,” Wilkin continued.

The 35th Anniversary of Independence Flag Fete is expected to feature  artists such as Kranium, The Onyan Effek, Small Axe Band, Grand Masters Band, Nu Vybes Band, Zu, Nicha B, Dejour, Infamus, Byron Messia, Rucas H.E., AkaiUSweet & Mr. Bagnall

The event begins at 8:00pm at the Frigate Bay lawn. There is no admission charge.
