St.Kitts Department Of Maritime Affairs Builds Capacity For Local Maritime Industry.

 

12715485_1149058715111767_4889917760815282658_nBasseterre, St.Kitts (Department of Maritime Affairs Feb 9th 2016):- To facilitate the exploitation of opportunities in the local maritime sector, the Department of Maritime Affairs continue to build capacity for this sector of the economy by ensuring that our youngsters achieve the highest level of maritime training. Just back from the World Maritime University ( WMU) is Kenish Carlus Garnette who spent the last 14 months there pursuing a master degree in Maritime Affairs with a concentration in Maritime Safety Administration.carlus garnette

Mr. Garnette who had earlier achieve his Bsc. in International Shipping from the Caribbean Maritime Institute (CMI) in Jamaica is one of the bright sparks of the St.Kitts and Nevis Defense Force Coast Guard and has much to contribute to the development of the local maritime industry.

Kenish Carlus Garnette is the son of Olive Garnette of Tabernacle Village, St.Kitts.
