The 2016 Bigger, Better and More Exciting National Bank SKNABA Playoffs Tips Off This weekend and one of the big stories for the playoffs will be Cayon’s Livan Lee and his quest to lead his new team the Atiba Harris St.Peters Runnerz to a SKNABA Championship Title. Lee is regarded as the best young player in the entire league. He stands 6’-7” and has the speed, agility and skill of a 6’-0” Point GUARD. He has played all of his life with his hometown team the Cayon Lions but this year made the bold move to transfer to the St.Peters Runners . The Runnerz after being promoted to the Premier Division after an impressive near undefeated “A” Division run in the 2015 season sort to beef up their line-up to ensure they were just as competitive in the Premier as they were in the “A”. They hit the jackpot when they acquired Livan who is by far the best young player in the federation. Livan’s inclusion in the team resulted in a 2nd place finish for the Atiba Harris sponsored team at the end of the regular season . A very impressive accomplishment considering they were in the “A” division just last year.
The success of the RUNNERZ will depend heavily on the play of young Livan. To put it frankly the RUNNERZ cannot win the 2016 Title without Livan playing at his near best at the least. A CHAMPIONSHIP win by the Runnerz would be historic as only one other team has won the “A’ Division and the Premier Division in successive years. That other team is the defending CHAMPIONS St.Pauls Tuff Knots who achieved the historic feat twice . Most recently during the 2014 to 2015 SEASON.
Livan and the Runnerz will have their opening round seriously tested when they square off against the 7th Seeded Development Bank Challengers Exodus on Saturday evening July 23rd. . Despite having a horrid seson fo their own standards the 2014 Champions Challengers Exodus will be a formidable test for the 2nd Seeded Runnerz.
With all this said Can Livan lead the Atiba Harris Runnerz to the Championshio? The simple answer is Yes He Can !!!
