Craft vendors too were also present displaying a wide array of Kittitian crafts, art and ornaments.

Amongst the welcoming amenities were bilingual translators – a new initiative from SCASPA, decorated walking sections and driveways, help and information corner and taxi and shuttle assistance for the visitors.  SCASPA personnel, advocates from the Tourism Authority, taxi drivers and tour operators were also present to ensure the smooth movement of people while at berth.

In a proud moment, SCASPA’s Sea Port/Cruise Manager had this to say:

When German Ships like the Aida Diva visit our shores it gives me a new feeling every time. I feel we have met and surpassed expectations especially at a Cargo Facility. Our new translation service has really gone a long way. It is always a great feeling to watch the first person disembarking the ship smile at what we have to offer and that is gratifying enough for me.”

The Aida Diva and the MS Mein Schiff 3 bring our inaugural calls for this season to nineteen.
