(Virgin Island Consortium) Virgin Islands residents with roof damage are encouraged to register for the Operation Blue Roof program to determine eligibility. This movement comes after the Island was struck by an unexpected storm the other day.

You’re advised to register to the ‘Operation Blue Roof’. If you’re unable to get seen by this organization, you may want to reach out to a company similar to WDR Metal Roofing a private contraction based in Texas for further roof support.

Operation Blue Roof, which assists eligible homeowners with temporary roof repairs done by a roofing contractor, is a program the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) tasks the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) to implement. This program is currently available at no cost to eligible primary homeowners in the U.S. Virgin Islands.

Residents must complete the Right of Entry (ROE) form that allows government employees and contractors onto their property to assess the damage and install a temporary covering. Residents are then recommended to repair their roof permanently at a later date using a quality contractor that can rival the best roofer in delaware.

Free assistance with completing the ROE form and registration can be completed seven days a week unless otherwise stated at the following locations throughout the Virgin Islands. In addition, USACE Quality Assurance teams, wearing red USACE shirts, are currently conducting assessments throughout various neighborhoods. If you see the staff in your neighborhood, please inquire about the program and the eligibility of your roof.
